Director, Product Planning

The Director of Product Planning will act as the connection within our product group, converting strategy into a practical, well-ordered plan. This person keeps the product team coordinated, informed, and progressing effectively. This role offers high visibility and influence for someone wanting to engage with the full product organization. You will not directly own a feature roadmap.

• Own the end-to-end planning process that turns strategic priorities into a resourced, sequenced roadmap across product lines
• Facilitate tradeoff and prioritization discussions among product leaders, surfacing conflicts and dependencies before they become blockers
• Keep the roadmap current and credible as priorities shift, and make sure changes are communicated clearly to collaborators
• Build and manage the product org's operating rhythm — planning cycles, launch readiness reviews, cross-team syncs, retros
• Own the tooling and systems (e.g., Jira, Linear, Notion) that keep planning artifacts organized and trustworthy as a single source of truth

• 5+ years in product operations, technical program management, chief-of-staff, or a similar cross-functional planning role
• Strong track record running planning/prioritization processes across multiple teams or product lines
• Comfortable working with data and metrics, even if you do not build the underlying pipelines. You know how to ask Data Science the right questions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complexity into something leadership can act on quickly
• Highly organized, low-ego, and energized by making other people's work easier and more coherent
