Lead Technical Product Manager, Protocol (Vision Chain)

Bitpanda is building the premier ecosystem for European financial institutions to issue and distribute euro-denominated tokenized assets on Vision Chain, its OP Stack L2. This Lead Technical PM owns Vision Chain as a product, the foundation Bitpanda's onchain products run on.

Responsibilities

• Own Vision Chain at the infrastructure level, including configuration choices such as the fee mechanism and block building logic, and OP Stack modifications in collaboration with OP Labs
• Manage infrastructure partnerships for RPC nodes, indexing and oracles
• Work with Compliance and Legal to implement compliant onchain transaction screening, identity and privacy solutions
• Run reliability, incidents and cost, and own developer documentation and partner technical onboarding
• Coordinate with the other Web3 product leads so the chain roadmap supports products built on top

What we are looking for

• 6+ years of product or engineering experience, with 3+ years in blockchain infrastructure such as L1/L2, rollup-as-a-service or node infrastructure
• Deep understanding of EVM rollup mechanics: sequencing, fees, proofs, withdrawals, bridges, upgrade keys and account abstraction
• Ability to translate business and regulatory needs into precise technical requirements without direct management
• Working knowledge of the EU crypto regulatory landscape (MiCA, DORA, AML/CFT, sanctions screening)

Additional Information

Individual contributor reporting to the Head of Web3 Product. Available in all Bitpanda hubs on a hybrid model with an additional 25 days per year to work from a location of your choice.
