Lead Product Manager, DeFi

Bitpanda serves millions of European investors and is bringing regulated finance onchain with Vision Chain, its own OP Stack L2. This Lead PM builds Bitpanda's DeFi ecosystem from the ground up, starting with crypto-backed borrowing and lending in the app.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the lending markets: loan-to-value and liquidation thresholds, interest rate curves, caps and oracles, plus monitoring and incident playbooks
• Bring euro liquidity and users to permissioned markets from stablecoin issuers, institutional lenders, curated vaults and market makers
• Make sure the DeFi infrastructure is in place: DEX liquidity, liquidators and oracles
• Shape what customers see, sign and own in the app, and measure real use such as repeat borrowers, bad debt and revenue
• Recommend which protocols and partners come to Vision Chain and work with Legal, Compliance and Risk on EU consumer credit rules and MiCA

What we are looking for

• 6+ years of product management, with 3+ years building and scaling DeFi or crypto products
• In-depth knowledge of lending markets: collateral and liquidation mechanics, interest rate models, oracles and bad debt
• Comfort with the EVM and the ability to read Solidity
• Experience bringing DeFi applications into regulated consumer products and working knowledge of EU crypto regulation
