Head of Crypto

Satispay is hiring a Head of Crypto to drive a new core pillar of its expansion into cryptocurrency and Web3. The role takes ownership of an existing strategy, executes it, adapts it and expands it, with frequent touchpoints with the founding team and a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Own the existing crypto roadmap and drive its execution, adjusting and expanding the offering as the market evolves.
- Partner directly with the founders and C-level executives to keep the crypto rollout aligned with Satispay's mission.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of crypto products, from infrastructure setup and go-to-market to launch and optimization.
- Work with Compliance and Legal so that products align with European regulation such as MiCA and safeguarding standards.
- Build partnerships with exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers and blockchain networks.
- Lead and mentor high-performing teams.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years of experience in crypto/Web3 initiatives at a regulated fintech, exchange or crypto-native company.
- Ability to turn high-level strategy into shipped products and scale operations from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, crypto market dynamics, digital wallets, custody solutions and Web3 infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of the European crypto regulatory landscape (MiCA, AML/KYC for digital assets) and a record of launching products within strict compliance frameworks.
- Strong ability to align internal and external stakeholders and explain complex crypto concepts to the founding team.
- Fluent English; Italian is a plus.
