AI Technical Product Manager (QVAC)
Job Description
Tether is hiring an AI Technical Product Manager for QVAC, a general-purpose AI assistant that runs locally on users' devices with a focus on on-device, privacy-preserving AI. You will work with the Product Lead to define AI use cases and features and carry them from discovery through delivery, while prototyping and tracking AI developments relevant to the product. The role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Turn the product vision into feature proposals and requirements based on user research
- Write specs, user stories, acceptance criteria and user flows
- Build wireframes, mockups and working prototypes to test ideas
- Weigh technical trade-offs such as latency, memory, battery use and privacy with engineers
- Help prioritize the backlog and coordinate feature delivery and release readiness
What we are looking for
- 7+ years of product management, ideally on AI software with engineering teams
- Experience building or prototyping AI-powered features
- Working knowledge of AI concepts such as inference, model limits and evaluation
- Ability to prototype with design or coding tools
- Familiarity with product analytics, user research and iterative development
