VP, Security Engineer

Galaxy Digital is seeking a VP, Security Engineer to lead technical security across its trading, staking, and digital asset management platforms. This senior role drives security architecture at the executive level, combining deep hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership across Galaxy's institutional businesses. Based in New York, NY.

• Define and drive Galaxy's technical security strategy across trading infrastructure, custody systems, and blockchain operations.
• Lead technical security reviews for major product launches, acquisitions, and infrastructure changes.
• Serve as the executive authority on security architecture, cryptographic systems, and risk management.
• Build and grow the security engineering team; mentor senior security engineers across teams.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Engineering leadership on enterprise security posture.

• 12+ years of security engineering experience; VP or equivalent senior technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in enterprise security architecture, cryptographic systems, and threat intelligence.
• Experience securing financial systems, trading platforms, or digital asset infrastructure.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications preferred.
