Agentic AI Engineer
Job Description
Taxbit is the leading tax and accounting compliance platform for the digital economy, founded by CPAs, tax attorneys, and engineers. The company is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to design and ship customer-facing agentic AI products using AWS-native technologies, at the intersection of AI and fintech compliance workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy customer-facing agentic AI products using Strands Agents, AgentCore, Bedrock, and Lambda
- Architect multi-agent systems with reliable tool use, memory, and orchestration
- Own the full AI feature lifecycle: prompt engineering, agent design, evaluation, deployment, monitoring
- Instrument and monitor agentic systems in production
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of software engineering, 1+ year shipping AI/LLM-powered applications in production
- Hands-on AWS AI/ML experience (Bedrock, Strands, AgentCore, SageMaker)
- Strong understanding of agentic patterns: tool use, RAG, memory, multi-agent orchestration
- Strong Python and/or TypeScript
