Stripe is hiring a transactional lawyer for its Commercial Legal team to support Bridge, Stripe's stablecoin infrastructure business, as it builds and scales products for businesses operating across markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations on complex and strategic agreements with users and partners
- Advise on legal and commercial issues tied to stablecoin products, launches and international expansion
- Work with Product Legal and product and engineering teams to bring new features to market
- Build commercial legal infrastructure, including agreements, playbooks and AI-assisted workflows
- Serve as the escalation point for outside counsel
What we are looking for
- Familiar with legal and commercial risks in fintech, stablecoins, hosted data and technology services
- Active good-standing membership in at least one US state bar, with a JD or foreign equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience, in-house or in a technology practice at a top law firm
- Preferred: experience in payments, fintech, crypto or stablecoin businesses, including regulatory issues
