Blockchain Security Engineer, Bridge

Stripe's Bridge team is building a stablecoin-based payments platform for cross-border money movement, virtual USD accounts and global payouts. This role builds Bridge's security program from the ground up while using Stripe's mature security tooling and practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the Bridge security roadmap from first principles to production
• Identify and address the most important security risks quickly and pragmatically
• Use Stripe's infrastructure where it fits, and build custom solutions where it does not
• Lead threat modeling and hardening for money movement systems with crypto and infrastructure teams
• Build monitoring, secrets management, incident response, access controls and CI/CD hardening
• Help Bridge meet compliance and audit requirements as it expands into regulated markets

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of security engineering experience
• Experience building or scaling security programs at a startup or in an embedded role
• Preferred: comfort writing and debugging backend code, Ruby preferred
• Preferred: interest in stablecoins and crypto as global financial infrastructure
