Staff Security Operations Engineer

Job Description
Top technical expert on the Security Operations team protecting Ledger's corporate, cloud, SaaS, and data-center environments, distinct from product security. Leads response to the most complex incidents and defines detection strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead response to the most complex incidents (CSIRT): root-cause analysis, forensics, remediation
- Define detection strategy and lead proactive threat hunting using CTI/OSINT
- Design/optimize SIEM (Splunk) and SOAR (Torq) architecture, including an internal AI-assisted alert triage system
- Apply cloud security expertise (AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, Wiz) to harden environments
- Establish playbooks/runbooks and mentor the team
What we are looking for
- 9+ years in security operations/incident response/CSIRT
- Deep SIEM/SOAR expertise
- Strong AWS security and EDR (CrowdStrike) knowledge
- Scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, GitHub Actions)
- Solid infrastructure (cloud, networking, containers, CI/CD) understanding
