Staff DevOps Engineer, Transaction Lifecycle

Phantom is hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure powering transaction simulation, broadcasting, and confirmation across its multi-chain wallet. As the most widely used crypto wallet with tens of millions of users, Phantom’s transaction lifecycle infrastructure must be fast, reliable, and resilient across Solana, Ethereum, and every chain the wallet supports.

• Own and evolve the infrastructure behind transaction simulation, broadcasting, confirmation, and fee estimation across all supported chains
• Architect high-availability RPC infrastructure with intelligent routing, failover, and latency optimization
• Set reliability standards (SLOs, SLAs) and build observability systems that give the team real-time visibility into transaction health
• Collaborate with wallet engineers and security teams to harden transaction pipelines against abuse and failures

• 7+ years of DevOps/SRE experience; strong Kubernetes, Terraform, and multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) expertise
• Deep understanding of blockchain transaction mechanics across at least one major chain (Solana, Ethereum, or similar)
• Experience operating high-scale, latency-sensitive RPC or API infrastructure serving millions of end users
• Staff-level impact: can define technical direction, mentor peers, and drive large cross-team infrastructure initiatives
