Senior/Staff Engineer, Fraud Risk

OKX is hiring a Senior or Staff Engineer for its Fraud Risk team in Hong Kong. This role builds real-time fraud monitoring systems using configurable rule engines, develops event data stream ingestion pipelines for near-real-time fraud detection, and implements A/B testing frameworks for rule evaluation. Java microservices deployed on Alicloud and AWS at scale.

• Build and maintain real-time fraud monitoring systems with configurable rule engines
• Develop event data stream ingestion pipelines for near-real-time fraud detection and response
• Implement A/B testing frameworks for fraud rule evaluation and continuous optimization
• Build and scale Java microservices on Alicloud and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Tune JVM performance for high-throughput, low-latency fraud detection workloads
• Collaborate with risk, security, and operations teams on fraud prevention strategies

• 5+ years of Java development experience with expert-level JVM tuning skills
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot, SpringMVC, Mybatis, and SpringCloud microservices
• Experience with Kafka and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Proficiency with Redis, MySQL, or Oracle
• Distributed systems design expertise
• Bilingual Mandarin/English preferred; position based in Hong Kong
