Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Description
Risk Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between its protocols—UMA’s optimistic oracle and the Across cross-chain bridge—and the teams building on top of them. You will work with DeFi protocols, institutional clients, and developers to design integrations, solve technical challenges, and ensure their deployments succeed end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for protocols and developers integrating UMA or Across
- Design integration architectures, write reference implementations, and debug complex multi-chain issues
- Collaborate with the core protocol team to translate partner feedback into product improvements
- Create technical documentation, tutorials, and integration guides for the developer community
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in solutions engineering, developer relations, or technical partnerships with a strong software background
- Deep understanding of Ethereum, cross-chain messaging, and DeFi protocol mechanics
- Hands-on coding ability (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python) to build integrations and debug smart contract interactions
- Excellent communication and listening skills; experience with async-first distributed teams
