Senior Software Engineer - Mobile Backend

BitGo is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Mobile team and help build the first-time user experience for retail crypto users. The role is full-time onsite at the Toronto office.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, well-abstracted APIs, libraries and services for an API-first platform
- Own functionality and scalability from inception to deployment and customer integration
- Expose and document functionality for the UI, third-party developers and internal tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, and mentor peers through code reviews
What we are looking for
- 6+ years of back-end and server-side development
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Strong RESTful API design and microservices experience
- Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain
- Preferred: consumer-facing crypto products, public APIs in production and familiarity with React
