Senior Software Engineer (Backend): Fiat Orchestration
Job Description
BVNK's Fiat Orchestration squad handles reliable, scalable processing of fiat transactions across banking rails and payment networks, including inbound deposits, outbound settlements, and cross-border transfers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services powering fiat orchestration, settlement, and reconciliation
- Build integrations with banking partners and payment schemes
- Contribute to platform architecture for reliability and fault tolerance
- Build APIs covering the full transaction lifecycle
- Drive observability, monitoring, and incident response
What we are looking for
- Strong JVM-language backend experience (Java/Kotlin)
- Distributed microservices and relational databases (Postgres)
- Event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, SNS)
- Cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD
- Nice to have: fintech, payments, or banking infrastructure background; stablecoin exposure
