Job Description
Alchemy is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build the systems that turn blockchain activity into data developers can use, including token, portfolio and transfer APIs, with streaming on the roadmap. You will own backend projects from ingestion through serving.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate blockchain ingestion, indexing, storage and API-serving systems
- Handle reorganizations, retries, duplicate events and historical backfills reliably
- Improve query performance and data freshness, and make them observable
- Extend API capabilities and chain coverage with tests for chain-specific behavior
What we are looking for
- Strong backend engineering experience with distributed data systems
- Experience with blockchain indexing or data pipelines
- Comfort owning projects from ingestion to serving
