Job Description
Helius, a leading Solana developer platform whose RPC and API infrastructure powers Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom, is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to own a core system such as Gatekeeper, Data Streaming, Historical APIs, or Account Index. Helius has raised $34M+ from Haun Ventures, Founders Fund, and Foundation Capital.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and release performance-sensitive developer-facing products
- Optimize production systems for latency and throughput
- Collaborate with staff engineers and founders on architecture decisions
- Improve observability and incident response
- Mentor other engineers
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience at scale
- Strong systems-level intuition
- Proficiency in Rust (preferred), C++, or Go
- Experience with latency-sensitive, high-throughput systems
