Senior Smart Contract Engineer
Job Description
Uniswap Labs is hiring a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to work on the Uniswap Protocol, the largest decentralized exchange on Ethereum. You will design, implement, and audit production smart contracts that secure and facilitate billions of dollars in daily on-chain trading volume.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-grade Solidity smart contracts for the Uniswap Protocol
- Conduct security reviews, fuzzing, and formal verification of contract code
- Collaborate across teams on protocol design and new feature development
- Work with external auditors and security researchers on protocol reviews
- Identify gas optimization opportunities and improve protocol efficiency
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of smart contract development experience with Solidity
- Deep understanding of the EVM and gas optimization techniques
- Experience with security tooling (Foundry, Echidna, Slither)
- Strong familiarity with DeFi protocols, AMMs, and liquidity mechanisms
- Track record of shipping battle-tested, production smart contracts

Uniswap Labs operates out of New York City and offers hybrid work arrangements. The employer-stated salary range is $226,000–$282,000 plus equity and UNI token grants, reflecting the team's commitment to compensating world-class engineers at the top of market.
