Senior Security Engineer

Rain's security team protects a stablecoin payments platform where real money moves every second, across cloud infrastructure, identity, partner integrations and smart contracts. The team is small, senior and builds most of what it runs, including AI agents for alert triage and response.

Responsibilities

• Build central security systems and automation the whole company relies on
• Secure cloud infrastructure, identity and access across Rain's growing footprint
• Assess new products, partners and vendors before launch
• Build AI agents and tools that make security work faster and more accurate
• Lead external security assessments and drive findings to verified fixes
• Join the on-call rotation and support incident response

What we are looking for

• 5+ years in security engineering, including building tools and controls that run in production
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript, Go, Rust or Python
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure, identity and access
• Ability to find vulnerabilities, prove them and drive the fix
• Experience at a fintech, payments or crypto company
• Nice to have: blockchain security, AI security, external audits or bug bounty experience

Additional Information

Remote. The employer lists a salary range of $200,000 – $260,000 plus equity and bonus.
