Senior Node.js Software Engineer - Holepunch (100% Remote, Worldwide)

Tether is hiring a Senior Node.js Software Engineer to work on Holepunch, the P2P stack within Tether Data that underpins more than 1,500 public npm modules. The role focuses on developing and maintaining core P2P infrastructure and its surrounding ecosystem of open-source modules, working within a fully remote, globally distributed team.

• Develop and maintain the Holepunch P2P stack and its ecosystem modules
• Publish and support reusable, well-tested npm modules
• Collaborate with a globally distributed remote engineering team
• Contribute to the reliability and performance of P2P infrastructure used across Tether Data

• Proven production experience with Node.js
• Strong track record of writing modular, maintainable code
• Experience publishing reusable npm modules
• Solid testing and debugging skills
• Interest or experience in P2P or distributed systems
• Comfort working in a globally remote team
• Preferred: native Node.js extensions (C/C++), network protocol optimization, OSS contributions in P2P/decentralized tech
