Senior Java Engineer, OKX Pay Smart Account Team
Job Description
OKX is hiring a Senior Java Engineer for its OKX Pay Smart Account Team in Singapore. This role builds the backend infrastructure powering OKX Pay's account abstraction features — enabling gasless transactions, multi-chain payment flows, and smart contract wallets for tens of millions of OKX users.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Java/Spring microservices for OKX Pay's smart account platform.
- Implement account abstraction features including bundler services, paymasters, and ERC-4337 support.
- Build high-throughput APIs for payment processing and smart wallet management.
- Collaborate with product, front-end, and smart contract teams on feature delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering quality standards.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of Java backend development; expertise with Spring Boot and microservices.
- Understanding of EVM account abstraction standards (ERC-4337, bundlers, paymasters).
- Experience building high-availability payment or financial transaction systems.
- Familiarity with blockchain node interactions and Web3 API integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to system latency and performance.
