Senior iOS Engineer, Crypto Perpetuals

Robinhood is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer for its Crypto Perpetuals team, which builds mobile trading tools for crypto derivatives: charting, order entry, position management and risk-aware product experiences. The role focuses on performant, real-time iOS experiences and on mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable iOS architecture for advanced crypto trading features.
• Work with product, design, backend and data teams on fast, reliable trading tools.
• Improve performance, real-time data handling, observability and release stability.
• Lead technical planning, design reviews and incident resolution for high-stakes trading features.
• Mentor iOS engineers through code reviews and feedback, and contribute to engineering standards.

What we are looking for

• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Extensive experience with Swift and modern iOS frameworks on large-scale apps.
• Experience with clear architecture patterns and testing, especially for data-intensive or real-time use cases.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives.
• Preferred: experience with financial platforms, trading systems or real-time market data.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Information

In person at least 3 days per week in Toronto. Stated base pay is CAD 166,000 - 195,000, plus eligibility for bonus, equity and benefits.
