Senior iOS Engineer, Crypto Perpetuals
Job Description
Robinhood's Crypto Perpetuals team is building mobile trading tools for active crypto derivatives traders, covering charting, order entry, position management and risk-aware product experiences. This senior role focuses on scalable iOS architecture for real-time market data and high-reliability trading flows.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable iOS architecture for advanced crypto trading features.
- Work with product, design, backend and data teams to ship fast, reliable trading tools.
- Improve app performance, real-time data handling, observability and release stability.
- Lead technical planning, design reviews and incident response.
- Mentor iOS engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
What we are looking for
- 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Extensive experience with large-scale iOS apps using Swift and modern frameworks.
- Experience designing scalable, testable mobile systems for data-intensive or real-time use cases.
- Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Preferred: financial platforms, trading systems or real-time market data products.
Additional Information
In-person at least 3 days per week in Menlo Park or New York (a Toronto posting also exists). Employer-stated base pay for Menlo Park/New York: $196,000-$230,000; bonus, equity and benefits also offered. The posting requires US citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
