Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Core Systems
Job Description
QuickNode is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help architect and deploy its next-generation infrastructure platforms across private and public clouds and hybrid environments spanning bare-metal, virtualization, and orchestration. The role designs infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management automation, and partners with the TechOps, CloudOps, and Platform teams on capacity planning and disaster-recovery testing.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy infrastructure platforms across bare-metal, virtualized, and cloud environments
- Build infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management automation
- Establish infrastructure standards and documentation across teams
- Partner with TechOps, CloudOps, and Platform teams on capacity planning
- Run disaster-recovery testing and drive resilience improvements
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of systems administration, datacenter operations, or infrastructure engineering experience
- Deep Linux/Unix expertise
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Consul, and Jenkins
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or JavaScript
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker and observability tooling (Grafana, DataDog, VictoriaMetrics)
