Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Risk Labs—the foundation behind the UMA optimistic oracle and Across cross-chain bridge—is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure and operational reliability that keeps its DeFi protocol network running. You will build and maintain the systems that underpin dispute resolution, cross-chain message passing, and the broader Risk Labs developer tooling ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes clusters, and container orchestration for Risk Labs protocol services
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smart contract deployments, bots, and backend services
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and on-call runbooks for protocol-critical systems
- Drive security hardening, secrets management, and access control improvements across the infrastructure
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE with deep Kubernetes and cloud platform expertise
- Experience operating blockchain infrastructure: RPC nodes, keeper/bot systems, or cross-chain relayers
- Proficiency with Terraform or Pulumi for IaC; strong scripting in Python or Bash
- Solid observability background (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty or equivalent); async-first remote work style
