Job Description
Phantom, a fully remote crypto trading and finance app, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale the data foundation for analytics, experimentation and decision-making. The role combines blockchain data, product analytics and marketing integrations, working with Data Science, Product and Engineering on a lean data team.
Responsibilities
- Design data architecture that handles hundreds of terabytes with projected 10x growth.
- Lead data quality efforts including observability and monitoring.
- Lead data modeling work that supports rapid business growth.
- Build and scale A/B testing frameworks.
- Mentor others on data best practices.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years building and scaling data infrastructure in high-growth environments.
- Deep experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Strong data modeling, schema design and architecture skills.
- Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python.
- Experience building experimentation infrastructure and data quality frameworks.
Additional Information
Preferred: experience with blockchain or cryptocurrencies, Rudderstack, Sigma Computing, Metaplane and Eppo. Phantom is backed by a Series C round. No salary range is stated in the posting.
