Senior Backend Engineer
Job Description
Zerion, whose API is trusted by 50+ crypto and fintech brands and whose wallet has 1.7M+ funded users, is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for its API/Platform team. The role owns scalable distributed backend services end-to-end, working directly with API clients to scope solutions and extending Zerion's Web3 platform to new protocols and chains.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed backend systems
- Own services end-to-end from design through production
- Scope solutions directly with API clients
- Build and evolve Web3 platform backend components, including protocol integrations and new chain support
- Maintain code quality, security, and observability standards
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of distributed backend systems experience
- Strong algorithms and data structures knowledge
- Comfort operating at startup pace
- Ability to scope solutions directly with customers
- Tech stack: Go, Docker/Kubernetes, Postgres, MongoDB/Cassandra, AWS
