Senior Backend Developer
Job Description
Galaxy Digital is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to build the infrastructure powering its Ethereum staking and validator platform. This role focuses on Golang services that manage validator fleets, Liquid Collective liquid staking, and large-scale node operations across mainnet. Based in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Go microservices for Ethereum validator management and staking infrastructure.
- Build systems for monitoring validator health, managing duties, and optimizing MEV capture.
- Develop integrations with Ethereum consensus and execution clients (Lighthouse, Geth, Prysm, Nethermind).
- Support Liquid Collective's liquid ETH staking operations with reliable, auditable backend systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and protocol teams to scale staking operations.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Go proficiency.
- Knowledge of Ethereum proof-of-stake mechanics, validator duties, and the beacon chain.
- Experience building distributed systems; familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS.
- Understanding of Ethereum client software on both consensus and execution layers.
- Knowledge of liquid staking protocols or DeFi infrastructure is highly desirable.
