Senior Back-End Engineer, Trading Platform

Blockchain.com is hiring a Senior Back-End Engineer for its Institutional team in London. This role builds low-latency, scalable trading services in Rust — including Order Management Systems, exchange gateways, and risk management infrastructure — at one of crypto's oldest and most trusted companies. Mandatory in-office presence four days per week.

• Build low-latency, scalable trading services in Rust including OMS, exchange gateways, and risk management systems
• Enhance and maintain OMS functionality for efficient order execution, routing, and management in high-frequency trading
• Ensure security is at the forefront of development, employing advanced encryption schemes to protect user and company data
• Work closely with other tech teams to improve performance across all systems
• Gain exposure to low-latency, high-throughput algorithms across the cryptocurrency exchange ecosystem

• Extensive experience in C++ and/or Rust
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Expertise in multithreading, network programming (including multicast), and performance benchmarking
• Experience in trading systems: OMS, exchange gateway connectivity, market data ingestion, high-throughput low-latency architecture
• Legal right to work in the UK; must be able to work four days per week in the London office
