Job Description
Security Engineer within Trail of Bits' growing Software Assurance practice, conducting comprehensive security assessments of client software with a focus on low-level code analysis, system architecture, security boundaries, and platform security mechanisms.
Responsibilities
- Security assessment (low-level code audits, IPC, access control, platform security controls)
- Security tool development (custom vulnerability-detection tooling)
- Architecture review & threat modeling of cloud environments
- Client engagement with industry-leading teams
- Research & innovation
What we are looking for
- Hands-on application security assessment experience, manual code review depth
- Static/dynamic analysis fluency
- Binary analysis & reverse engineering
- Memory corruption vulnerabilities & mitigations
- Programming proficiency in 2+ of Rust/Go/Kotlin/Swift/Obj-C/JS/TS/Python/Ruby/C/C++
