Senior iOS Engineer, Crypto Perpetuals
Job Description
Robinhood’s mission is to democratize finance for all. This senior iOS role builds the pro-grade mobile crypto trading experience for Robinhood’s most active investors, focused on crypto perpetuals. You will work with product, design, backend and data teams on a small, elite team applying frontier technology to financial problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable iOS application architecture that supports advanced crypto trading experiences used by Robinhood's most active investors
- Partner with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams to deliver fast, reliable, and intuitive pro-grade trading tools on mobile
- Improve application performance, real-time data handling, observability, and release stability across core crypto trading workflows
- Lead technical planning and provide guidance during system design reviews, implementation discussions, and incident resolution for high-stakes trading features
What we are looking for
- 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications
- Extensive experience building and maintaining large-scale iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS development frameworks
- Experience designing mobile systems with clear architecture patterns, scalable component design, and maintainable testing strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, backend, and infrastructure partners
- Experience working on financial platforms, trading systems, or real-time market data products (preferred)
