Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)
Job Description
Ripple's Customer Onboarding Platform team is rebuilding onboarding infrastructure company-wide, unwinding Salesforce-bound logic into modern, engineering-owned backend services, integrating vendors like Persona for KYC/KYB, and designing the data model and orchestration layer that will make onboarding scalable and observable across Payments, Custody, and Stablecoin products.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of distributed, cloud-native backend services for onboarding
- Partner with Product, Compliance, and Engineering on orchestration and data pipelines
- Migrate onboarding logic out of Salesforce into engineering-owned services
- Build platform capabilities for faster, more reliable onboarding
- Contribute to foundational data modeling feeding Ripple's identity platform
- Mentor engineers
What we are looking for
- Full-stack engineering in cloud-native distributed systems
- REST/gRPC API design
- React/Vue exposure
- AWS plus Kubernetes or ECS
- Java and Spring Boot (or Go, Kotlin, C#, Python, Rust with willingness to learn JVM)
- Event-driven architecture experience (Kafka, SNS/SQS) a plus
