Senior Software Engineer, C++ / Rust
Job Description
RippleX's Programmability team is evolving the XRP Ledger's core capabilities to support smart contracts and more complex on-ledger functionality, including leading integration of a WebAssembly (WASM) VM into XRPL's C++ core.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core XRPL components for programmability, smart contracts, performance, and scalability
- Lead WASM VM integration into the C++ core
- Own the full software development lifecycle in modern C++ and Rust
- Author system design documents
- Lead technical discussions
- Participate in open-source code reviews
What we are looking for
- 5+ years hands-on C++ and Rust experience
- Demonstrable WASM VM or runtime integration experience
- Passion for blockchain technology
- Strong independent problem-solving on complex systems
- Strong communication skills
- Computer science degree
