Technical Support Engineer
Job Description
QuickNode is a cloud-based infrastructure company powering the blockchain ecosystem, servicing more than 10 billion requests per month. As a Technical Support Engineer you'll handle everything from simple customer support requests to setting up local proxies to debug outgoing Web3 requests, translating customer hardships into actionable items for the developer team.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer support requests across QuickNode's infrastructure products
- Set up local proxies to debug outgoing Web3 requests
- Translate customer hardships into actionable items for the developer team
- Rotate through customer support alongside engineering to stay close to customers
What we are looking for
- 1+ years in a technical support role
- 1+ year of blockchain experience (or personal project equivalent)
- Advanced scripting in Python, GoLang, Ruby, or Bash
- Core internet protocol knowledge (DNS, TCP/SSL, HTTP) and familiarity with the Ethereum JSON-RPC spec
Additional Information
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible/Salt/Puppet/Chef) and expertise managing Linux hosts is expected, along with strong debugging and documentation skills.
