Senior Software Engineer - Go & Rust, Blockchain Infrastructure

QuickNode is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Build team to design, build and improve the distributed systems that ingest, process and serve blockchain data at scale, working hands-on in both Go and Rust. This is a senior IC role combining deep technical ownership with engineering leadership, with a path toward Staff/Principal as scope grows.

• Design/optimize high-throughput, low-latency backend services and data pipelines in Go and Rust
• Own production Go services and Rust components end-to-end (architecture, concurrency, testing, deployment, observability)
• Architect fault-tolerant systems ingesting, validating and serving blockchain data
• Profile and benchmark systems for throughput, latency and efficiency
• Assess security risks and design controls protecting transactions and credentials
• Debug failures across services, databases, streaming systems and blockchain nodes
• Lead design/code reviews, mentor engineers, and set engineering standards

• 8+ years professional software engineering in high-scale backend/distributed systems
• Advanced production proficiency in both Go and Rust
• Deep distributed systems, concurrency and memory-safety knowledge
• Experience with blockchain infra, RPC/node infra, or data-streaming pipelines
• Preferred: Ethereum/Solana protocol experience, crypto/wallet/custody systems, Kafka/event-driven infra

This role spans two languages and the full data pipeline that keeps QuickNode's multi-chain infrastructure reliable, giving an experienced engineer broad technical ownership and a clear growth path toward Staff or Principal as the Build team's scope expands.
