QA Automation Engineer (100% Remote)

Bitfinex is now seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own Cypress end-to-end test coverage for the Bitfinex web platform. Most of your time goes into building and maintaining automated test suites, with the remainder covering manual testing on releases and contributing to REST API automation alongside the team. This is a 100% remote contractor role for candidates working in time zones UTC+7 to UTC+9.

Bitfinex is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to own Cypress E2E test coverage for their web platform. 100% remote worldwide, UTC+7 to UTC+9 timezone preferred (Philippines, Southeast Asia, East Asia).

Responsibilities: Write, maintain, and expand Cypress tests across the web platform; investigate and debug test failures by reproducing issues manually; contribute to REST API automation; conduct manual testing on releases.

Requirements: 2–5 years QA automation experience (QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or QA Engineer); solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills; experience with Cypress; familiarity with Cucumber/BDD is a plus; comfort with REST API concepts and automation tools (Mocha, Chai); GitHub proficiency; ability to work independently in an async remote culture.
