PR Manager APAC
Job Description
Tether is hiring a PR Manager for the Asia-Pacific region to lead its media relations and communications strategy across this critical market. You will build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, manage press activities, and ensure Tether's narrative is effectively communicated across diverse APAC markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead PR and media relations strategy across the APAC region
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and media outlets across Asia
- Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and crisis communications
- Coordinate with global communications team to align regional messaging
- Monitor media coverage and manage reputation across APAC markets
- Represent Tether at media events and industry conferences in the region
What we are looking for
- Proven PR experience in the APAC region, preferably in fintech or crypto
- Strong existing relationships with financial and technology media across Asia
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; Mandarin or Japanese a plus
- Experience managing crisis communications and sensitive media situations
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures
