A hands-on operations role at Polygon Labs focused on keeping production systems reliable and secure, spanning cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, observability, incident response and the secrets and configuration lifecycle. Core hours overlap the EU business day.
Responsibilities
- Operate production Kubernetes on GKE, including troubleshooting and reliability work
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Pulumi (including Pulumi ESC), mainly in TypeScript and Python
- Manage ArgoCD GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Operate GCP services (IAM, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, VPC, Secret Manager)
- Manage Cloudflare Workers and DNS as code
- Own secrets and configuration lifecycle, including rotation
- Handle production incidents independently, with runbooks and incident.io workflows
- Review and approve infrastructure pull requests
- Build Grafana dashboards and alerts; carry out SOC2-driven infrastructure work
What we are looking for
- Production experience running GKE
- Hands-on Pulumi experience with TypeScript and Python
- Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps and CI/CD
- Strong GCP experience, including Pub/Sub tuning and alerting
- Ability to triage production incidents independently
- Security and compliance literacy, including SOC2
- Ability to read Go; availability for EU-overlapping core hours
