BD Director, Payments (Mexico & Central America)

This role leads Polygon's expansion in payments and stablecoins across Mexico and Central America, building partnerships with fintechs, financial institutions and infrastructure players and co-creating go-to-market plans to drive adoption and open new corridors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage key players across the payments and stablecoin ecosystem, including banks, fintechs, PSPs, CEXs, wallets and market makers
• Promote Polygon's product suite and roadmap, including on-chain FX, cross-border remittances and the upcoming Polygon Payments Network
• Prioritize strategic partners and corridors, and shape pilots and integrations
• Track regulatory developments affecting digital payments and blockchain in the region
• Co-create and run GTM plans with ecosystem partners
• Build pitch decks, case studies and internal briefings
• Coordinate with legal, engineering, marketing and finance; maintain BD tools (CRM, dashboards, KPIs)

What we are looking for

• 6+ years in financial services, fintech or blockchain, especially payments, stablecoins or institutional crypto
• Strong network across Mexico and Central America's financial and fintech ecosystem
• Proven record of leading strategic BD and cross-functional execution
• Deep understanding of on-chain finance, including DeFi, stablecoins and institutional yield
• Working knowledge of regional crypto regulations
