Core Developer - Platform

Parity Technologies, the team behind Polkadot, the Polkadot SDK, and Kusama, is hiring a Core Developer into its Platform function within the Acceleration department. The team owns the shared infrastructure underpinning the Polkadot ecosystem — the SDKs and APIs developers use to build and deploy applications, plus the client agents that run those applications across web, desktop, and mobile. It's foundational, developer-facing infrastructure work, and the role expects comfort contributing to and communicating within Parity's remote-first, open-source community.

• Design and implement shared infrastructure and services underpinning the Polkadot platform
• Build SDKs and APIs that ecosystem developers use to create and deploy applications
• Work on client/user agents that run Polkadot applications across web, desktop, and mobile
• Help keep the platform secure, reliable, and able to scale to a large user base
• Collaborate in the open with the broader open-source Polkadot community

• Ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently
