Job Description
Paradex is the Everything Store for Finance, combining Exchange, Asset Management, and Borrow/Lend into one unified account. As a Principal Engineer on the product engineering team, you'll own the architecture and technical direction for Paradex's AI products, including Dime Terminal, sitting at the intersection of AI infrastructure and finance.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build a scalable platform for users and AI agents to orchestrate intent
- Design and build a custom LLM model for finance
- Own the security architecture enabling users to increase leverage with AI while protecting secret keys
- Provide technical leadership shaping the AI harness/ecosystem
What we are looking for
- 10+ years backend/distributed systems engineering
- Hands-on experience building AI agent infrastructure (tool-use orchestration, sandboxed execution, prompt injection defenses)
- Deep secrets-management and workload identity architecture experience
- Experience building correctness-critical finance infrastructure (ledgers, balance enforcement)
