Job Description
OP Labs is hiring a Japan-based Solutions/Sales Engineer to support Optimism's enterprise and institutional adoption across the Japanese market, sitting at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary technical counterpart for enterprise/institutional partners during evaluations and integrations
- Lead technical discovery on architecture, performance, security, and compliance
- Design test environments, including devnets and performance benchmarks, to validate throughput, latency, and cost
- Support documentation localization and technical enablement in Japanese
- Represent Optimism technically at industry events in Japan
What we are looking for
- 5-10 years as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Pre-Sales
- Background in blockchain infrastructure, cloud platforms, or financial infrastructure
- Hands-on Ethereum/EVM (L1/L2) experience
- Fluent Japanese with professional English; role must be based in Japan
