Site Reliability Engineer - Low-Latency Trading Systems
Job Description
Ondo operates real-time trading systems around the clock across traditional and crypto venues, spanning low-latency Rust engines, a fleet of Go services for trading, execution, and PnL accounting, and a multi-region Kubernetes footprint on AWS. This SRE role owns reliability, observability, and performance of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Own production reliability for trading engines, execution gateways, and market data ingestion pipelines
- Operate multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) via GitOps (Flux) with SOPS-encrypted secrets
- Build observability with Prometheus, Datadog, and SLOs
- Harden market data ingestion and build reconciliation/data-integrity tooling
- Participate in on-call covering US equity market hours and 24/7 crypto venues
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in SRE/production engineering/infrastructure with real-time or latency-sensitive systems
- Strong Go or Rust programming with deep hands-on Kubernetes/AWS experience
- Fluent PromQL and structured-log analysis; solid Linux internals/networking

Fully remote within the US. Tech stack includes Go, Rust, Python, Kubernetes (EKS), Flux, SOPS, AWS multi-region, S3 parquet lake, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Postgres, CockroachDB, BigQuery, and Databento.
