Senior Data Engineer
Job Description
Ondo Finance is the global leader in tokenized treasuries, tokenized stocks, and ETFs, bridging traditional finance and DeFi. The company is hiring its first dedicated Data Engineer to build the foundational data platform behind Ondo Global Markets and Ondo Perps, consolidating fragmented data sources into a unified BigQuery warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of analytics and data workflows into BigQuery as Ondo's unified warehouse
- Extend the Go services powering Ondo Perps to ingest additional data into the warehouse
- Design, build, and operate repeatable ETL/ELT pipelines for the Data Science team
- Consolidate fragmented data sources (CockroachDB, QuestDB, Allium, Dune, Databento) into well-modeled datasets
- Own data quality, observability, monitoring, and cost management across pipelines
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of data engineering experience building production pipelines and warehouses
- Deep hands-on experience with BigQuery (strongly preferred)
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills, plus dbt/Airflow-style orchestration
- Experience designing batch and streaming ingestion (CDC/changefeeds) from operational databases
