Senior Commercial Counsel
Job Description
Ondo Finance is seeking an experienced attorney to join its legal team as Senior Counsel, Commercial, working closely with business development, partnerships, marketing, and operations to structure, negotiate, and execute the agreements supporting Ondo's growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary legal partner to commercial teams
- Draft, review, and negotiate partnership, distribution, technology, licensing, vendor, and marketing agreements
- Lead complex negotiations from structuring through execution and renewal
- Advise on contractual, regulatory, reputational, and counterparty risk
- Build contract templates, playbooks, and legal workflows; manage outside counsel
What we are looking for
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- 5-8+ years' experience at a major law firm and/or high-growth blockchain, fintech, or financial-services company
- Significant complex commercial agreement drafting and negotiation experience
- Understanding of blockchain commercial relationships and securities/AML/financial-promotions regulation
