Principal AI Engineer, AI Agent Development
Job Description
OKX is looking for a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of autonomous AI agent systems, including trading bots, risk detection, fraud prevention, and customer assistants, on its global crypto exchange platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and lifecycle management of autonomous AI agents for exchange operations
- Architect multi-agent systems and frameworks for reasoning, planning, and RL-based agents
- Define agent roles and KPIs with product, engineering, business, and ops teams
- Drive experimentation and continuous learning pipelines
- Mentor AI scientists and engineers
- Ensure scalability, security, and regulatory compliance
What we are looking for
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, AI, ML, or Robotics with 10 years of industry experience
- Proven experience deploying autonomous AI agents (AutoGPT, OpenAgents, LangGraph, LangFuse, Dify, Coze)
- Experience with goal-oriented agents, context engineering, memory management, tool use, and RL decision-making
- Track record with real-time decision-making systems in trading, gaming, or support
