Graduate Hire 2025/26 - Software Engineer (Backend)
Job Description
This role is part of OKX's Supernova Program, a three-year career-accelerator track that fast-tracks new graduates into technical experts across engineering, product, and design. As a backend software engineer, the hire will build distributed, high-availability services powering OKX's trading and wallet platforms, working cross-functionally with design and product teams to ship new features quickly.
OKX is looking for a computer science background, proficiency in a relevant backend stack such as Java/Spring Boot, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with common middleware like MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
Responsibilities
- Build distributed, high-availability backend services for OKX's trading and wallet platforms
- Work cross-functionally with design and product teams
- Participate in the three-year Supernova career-accelerator track
- Ship new features quickly in a hybrid team environment
What we are looking for
- Computer science background or equivalent self-taught skill
- Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, and Kafka
- Experience with automated testing and CI
