Job Description
MoonPay is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help own PayBox, its product that lets AI agents transact directly through payments, wallets, and applications without exposing user credentials. This founding-engineer-style role covers designing new PayBox capabilities and payment experiences for AI interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design new PayBox capabilities for AI agents to transact via payments, wallets, and applications
- Build payment and peer-to-peer transfer experiences for AI interfaces
- Integrate across AI platforms and the plugin ecosystem
- Improve onboarding UX for agent-facing products
What we are looking for
- Strong generalist engineer with exceptional technical reasoning
- End-to-end ownership experience shipping 0-to-1 products
- Prior crypto or MCP experience not required
