Senior Blockchain Engineer
Job Description
MoonPay is a unified payments platform for digital currency, serving 30M+ customers and 500+ ecosystem partners across fund, tokenize, trade, and spend products. The Engineering team is hiring a Senior Blockchain Engineer to design high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines and harden wallet lifecycle infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines and lifecycle management
- Contribute to wallet infrastructure and automation systems, including safe parallel transaction handling
- Build infrastructure supporting cross-chain, multi-step flows between fiat and on-chain
- Design state machines and recovery strategies for partial failure scenarios
- Participate in incident response and improve reliability, alerting, and system resilience
What we are looking for
- Strong backend/platform engineering fundamentals
- Experience operating production systems with real uptime requirements
- Hands-on experience with live blockchain networks in production
- Clear understanding of transaction lifecycle and failure recovery in at least one blockchain
