Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Description
Matter Labs builds Prividium, private zero-knowledge settlement infrastructure for regulated financial institutions.
This Forward Deployed Engineer embeds directly with institutional customers to take Prividium from signed deal to live production deployment, owning integration, node topology, and the on-call pager for those environments.
Responsibilities
- Own institutional deployments end-to-end: integration code, permissioning, node topology, upgrade paths, runbooks
- Build reference applications for collateral movement, tokenized deposits, and settlement flows
- Carry the on-call pager for Prividium and its hosted services
- Work with Heads of Product/Sales on account strategy and platform roadmap
What we are looking for
- Production software ownership including on-call experience
- Strong coding in TypeScript/Rust (or Java/C#/Go/Python with fast ramp-up)
- Prior forward-deployed engineer / solutions architect / technical founder experience
- Banking/regulated-finance systems knowledge OR Ethereum execution-client/node internals experience
Additional Information
Fully remote within the United States, with periodic travel (10-25%) to customer sites; compensation includes a long-term token grant vesting over four years with a one-year cliff, in addition to base pay.
